Roy Brown,born in Sacramento, Calif started playing music at the age of 9 . Played various instruments before settling with the piano. Formed his own group and began playing locally before moving to the San Francisco bay area.Worked and studied with several well known artist including Mark levine,Babatunde Lea, Jimmy Robinson,Bishop Norman Williams,George Walker, and bay area singer Frankye Kelly. Releaed 2 independantly produced albums. 'COURAGE' and 'JAZZ IS THE MUSIC I PLAY'. toured extensively throught the US and internationally in MEXICO and CHINA.
