STILLNESS This album is influenced by my fascination for the myth of Lilith.The legend says that Lilith was the first woman, created by god at the same time as Adam, unlike Eve who was created later from Adam's rib. Lilith refused to submit to Adam's will and left the garden of Eden. When I wrote the music I had these words in mind: Lilith Solo X: "And still she sits, young while the earth is old, And, subtly of herself contemplative, Draws men to watch the bright net she can weave, Till heart and body and life are in it's hold."
