Horrible Histories:..S.1
Tv Series / Children
Based on the best-selling books for kids (and for adults, but they just won't admit it), HOBBILE HISTORIES is an energetic, surprising and unconventional take on historyÆs most gruesome, unpleasant yet funniest moments. From the woeful World Wars, the miserable Middle Ages and the savage Stone Age to cut-throat Celts, groovy Greeks, rotten Romans, vile Vikings and awful Egyptians, history has never been so naughty. Irreverent in tone and approach, these are the stories from history that your mischievous uncle told you about; the gory, smelly bits that your teacher wouldnÆt approve of. But behind this entertaining and light-hearted exterior lurk hard historical facts and the fundamentally educational nature of the series. Maintaining the characteristic energetic style of the books, each episode offers an engaging mix of live action sketches and animation, bringing history vividly to life û warts and all.
