Panic in the Streets Dual Format
Gritty documentary-style thriller from director Elia Kazan. The victim of a gangland killing in New Orleans is discovered to be carrying the plague. Medical officer Clinton Reed (Richard Widmark) begins a desperate race against time to stop an epidemic that would wipe out the city.
Teaming up with by-the-book police chief Tom Warren (Paul Douglas), Reed must hunt down and apprehend the killers before the infection gets out of hand.
