Canadian horror written and directed by David Cronenberg. When Rose (Marilyn Chambers) is involved in a motorcycle crash in a remote area of Quebec, she is taken to a local research centre where she receives emergency treatment. Rose survives, but with an unexpected condition - she is now carrying a new strain of rabies which she passes on to her victims using a stinger which has developed in a small orifice under her arm.

The cast also includes Frank Moore, Joe Silver and Howard Ryspan.
