Hypochondriac Rufus (Reginald Denny), certain he won't live long enough to claim the family fortune, signs his inheritance over to schemers in exchange for the cash to hire a live-in nurse (Mary Astor). But when Rufus falls for his caregiver and decides on survival, can he win back his money? "Oh, Doctor!" co-stars Otis Harlan. Then, low-earning Jimmy (Edward Everett Horton), always ridden by wife Betty (Laura La Plante), saw his chance when his employer tasked him to land a major client. The night of the business dinner, though, Betty's gone-so Jimmy pays a boxer's wife to stand in. The situation gets worse when the boss arrives with his newly hired steno-Betty! "Poker Faces" co-stars Tom Ricketts. 149 min. Total Standard; Soundtrack: music score; audio commentary. Silent with music score.
