This arrangement for six-part trombone choir, which could be performed with an optional solo first trombone, requires approximately 3:45 playing time and the Grade 3 technical skills, range, and maturity of high school or college-level trombonists. Following an introduction, the spiritual melody begins in Concert Key of Eb Major. Midway through the arrangement there is an abrupt modulation in the Key of F followed by a solemn, slow ending. The range extends to a high A in the 1st part (solo) and second parts. This volume contains a full score and individual copies for each the six trombone parts. You don't have six or more trombonists? Or you want to expand on the sound of the trombone choir? Multiple players on a part will add to the depth and richness of the ensemble sound. Euphoniums can double any part. An extra part is included for optional Horn in F (doubling Trb. 4) and T. C. Baritone (doubling Trb. 5). All of the parts may be photocopied for rehearsal and performance purposes.
