I wrote almost all of these poems during my college years. While this marked a period in my life where I became more comfortable in my skin, and then with sharing my experiences with mental illness, there were much darker aspects I worked through only when I was alone. This short collection of poems was my way of processing through mental illness, suicidality, self-harm, faith, and relationships -- while also finding my place in the world.
