Dinosaurs roamed the planet starting about two hundred million years ago. About fifty million years ago they suddenly, almost all at once, disappeared. The cause of their rapid extinction is now thought to be a large asteroid or comet crashing into earth. It caused dust and other particles throughout the atmosphere. This caused the sun to be blocked and plants and animals to perish. What if during the two hundred million years of dinosaur evolution, an intelligent species evolved. They became sentient, that is self-aware thinking beings. They developed a culture and built a civilization. Evidence of this would have been destroyed. This story is about human scientists at a dinosaur dig site encountering evolved dromeosaurids who were also visiting the dig site. As it turns out they come from a planet named Zoran. On their planet there is a myth that the Zoranians originally came from another planet and escaped destruction, traveling in large space colonies many millions of years; until they encountered Zoran and settled there. Two of the scientists at the dig site, were abducted by these aliens and taken back to their planet. While on Zoran, the scientists, Allen and Deborah, experience a beautiful and advanced planet. Then they all encountered an extremely hostile and dangerous Species, threatening Earth with grisly destruction.
