Wendy Parks has one true love - track. That is until she meets James Parsons at a track meet. Attending competing High Schools, they should be sworn enemies but there is just something there that keeps pulling them together. It is just a common love of the sport or something deeper? With less than five months before she heads off to Stanford on a full track scholarship and Olympic dreams, Wendy doesn't have time for drama. James Parsons enjoys track, it's a natural ability that will do him well in his future plans, to be a science teacher and coach track, but he doesn't live for it. In fact, there is not too much he is passionate about until he spots Wendy Parks at a track meet. Never having this instant attraction before, James doesn't know what hit him or how to deal with it. One thing he is certain about, he would like to get to know her better, a lot better. After several mishaps and some just plain bad luck they finally get together, only to find themselves at a crossroads.
