There are love affairs that are crazy, passionate, romantic, painful, meaningless... terrifying! My first love was all of the above and during the day its memory haunts me. At night when sleep overcomes me, it becomes a nightmare which I fight with all my strength to wake up from it. I am tied to the remembrance of that young man with the scent of wet soil, with the flavor of grass, who taught me how to kiss and erased my shyness in just a few seconds of him having set gaze on me. Has he bewitched me? Or worse yet, am I carrying an eternal curse? Every day I ask myself these questions while I continue wrapped in the darkness of that love to which I could never say goodbye.
