This story takes place in the Mid-West beginning three or so years after the ending of World War II. Young men, of which so many gave their all, who survived had dreams of their future, began to settle down, raise families and look to a better life. After all, that's what they fought for! Small towns and cities were growing by leaps and bounds, new products were flooding the markets, all to make life more challenging and comfortable . New appliances for the home, better automobiles, methods of travel, exciting venues of entertainment all were popping up. Better schools were being built. New opportunities were beginning to help all to a better lifestyle. New ideas for the overall health were being introduced. There was a huge upswing towards a better way of life, until that fateful day in June of 1950? KOREA!
