The forty-one poems in this collection were first written in the latter half of 2009 and updated in early 2021. These poems mainly trend toward personal development themes, challenging thoughts and opinions, and celebrating virtue, positivity, truth, courage, etcetera, that seem to be under siege in these morality-challenged times. Hopefully, the reader will find several pieces to be quotable, memorable, and endurable, in light of the ageless lessons they bear. The genre is eclectic, with a scattering of contemporary styled poems, but several are influenced by Early Modern and Victorian Poetry. One will find both rhymed and free verse. There are six sections, one dedicated to Narrative Poems (poems that tell a story), and five others are headlined by prominent themes-Visioning, Virtue, Encouragement and Arousal, Humanity's Struggles, and Human Vanity.
