This book is a second collection of presentations on each of the 54 Torah portions, the eight main Jewish holidays, and my personal background. They are consistent with mainline Jewish tradition, while still influenced by my personal background (a Jewish refugee from Egypt) and my scientific and rational outlook (a doctorate in physics and a career as a defense analyst). Direct quotations from the Tanach, the Talmud, the Midrash, the classical commentaries and other traditional Jewish sources abound. The book is written for people who are serious about studying Judaism from both a spiritual an a rational point of view, in the tradition of Maimonides.
