Lyle McClory was a successful writer. Melissa Jackson was a talented illustrator. They were the perfect match - at least for his books and her pictures. To top it all off, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for him. She couldn't have asked for a better career jump. He wrote bestsellers for adults, and imaginative stories for children.
