The year is 2032, and it's incredible how the right act of fate can bring the most different of people together. Cody McGrath, a young man who recently left behind his Army career manning main battle tanks, lives in Colorado Springs with his best friend Katelyn Demarre and her ex-boyfriend Tyler Windell. Adrian Hayes, a damaged individual with a twisted history and an unfathomable genetic mutation, was also moved to Colorado Springs by his surrogate father figure Doctor Richard Penden following a violent exchange between Adrian and someone he once thought to be his lover. It just so happens that they both moved into the very same apartment complex, for very different reasons, just by pure chance alone. Despite being previously unconnected, the two will soon find themselves closely bound together in a desperate fight for their lives. In the presidential election of 2032, tensions are running higher than ever before, and millions of Americans have decided that the democratic process is no longer valid. As the ballots are counted on November the 2nd, civil society unravels, and Colorado Springs falls into complete chaos as an army of thousands of political extremists take to the streets. A group calling themselves the New People's Democratic Republic burn the city, storm federal installations, and murder everyone in their path in an attempt to take control and found a new order. With their home now a warzone, and their fellow man now hunting them down, can a jaded prior Army soldier and the son of the legendary Logan Heele escape the storm and lead their group to safety?
