"Bisssh-cot ..... BagLarian!" is a Joycean Poem as a Paean to the Memory of Ron Phelps (1946-2011). The book includes a Translation Guide in the form of an extensive detailed interpretive essay. Within are many musical, literary, Buddhist, Vedic, Egyptian, Greek, Biblical, Native American, biographical and historical references and related associations. The poem and Translation Guide work together to express the author's creative aesthetic, and are a paean to artistic spontaneity with deepening spirituality. Ron Phelps wrote novels, poetry, literary essays, aphorisms, haiku, short stories, biographical journals, and music for solo piano. Stephen Truelove is a composer, concert pianist, and writer currently living in Oregon.
