Third book in the installment of the self-published "Moleskine Poems" series written by Colvet. All poems contained herein were composed between 2018-2020 in Hamilton, ON (mostly) and Cleveland, OH. From the Author: The "Moleskine Poems" series is DIY poetry in the purest form with no qualms or censorship. I did not write this book to make you feel better about life or to serve as a guide for anyone. I did not write this book to gain other's sympathy or to project my problems onto them, that's why I have a therapist. I did not write this book to become famous or to confirm my ego. I wrote these books to fight for my life and stay alive when the mechanics of daily life got too difficult due to balancing familial, social, financial, occupational, and interpersonal struggles during my graduate degree. While I hope my words/messages can connect with others and give them hope, please keep in mind that your perception, needs, interests, diagnoses, etc. were not of my concern when writing this book. If this pisses you off, write you own book and subscribe to a different author. The emotions and phenomena presented herein are real and they represent monumental struggles I have endured in my life. If hearing that can help you get through yours, good on you (as many other works similar did for me in the past). But please don't buy this book with that expectation. Things get messy and scary, but also can be powerful and beautiful....that's just the ebb and flow of life my friends. Learn how to wade among it, rather than flail your limbs like an anxious idiot, looking to the Coast Guard miles away to save you. Get crafty, make a solution from thin air.
