Communion on the Hand is not a Sin nor Sacrilege
Geo West
Using the Ordinary and Universal Magisterium of the Church this article proves that Communion on the hand is not a sin nor sacrilege. The article does not comment about if reception on the tongue or the hand is better. The focus is to calm the consciences of others who receive on the hand -- especially during the pandemic. Using quotes from Vatican II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the saints and Scripture a robust response for those who receive communion on the hand is presented which side steps historical and conspiracy theories to get to the heart of the matter -- obedience.
