Sustainability - Simplified: ALL LIFE MATTERS / ALL ENVIRONMENTS MATTER Humanity doesn't always get it right in regard to Sustainability, but the challenge is to acknowledge the past and learn from and mistakes and errors and construct a better present and plan for a sustainable future. In these challenging times, it is now more important than ever to ensure Sustainability is part of our everyday life. When preparing this series of books about Emerging Trends - Sustainability, a number of opportunities for discussion were considered but two countries visited in 2019 provided a number of examples for review, being the countries of Albania and Nth Macedonia which are part of the group known as the "Balkans". They are relatively small countries but are rich in heritage with one of it's best known warriors being "Alexander the Great". Over the centuries, many empires have occupied or influences these cultures and heritage, but today this area is emerging as their own personalities. Nestled within "Eastern Europe", these countries are rich with natural beauty and provided examples of not only current sustainability but also links back over the centuries. Here sustainability has been influenced by the ancient past but is still an important ingredient in the present and the future.
