Ageing is natural process in all living animals. There are many physiological changes take place along with time. But many times due to certain environmental, behavioral and other factors it is accelerated and the persons look like aged more than their biological age. At the same time, if the physiological functions are taken care of well in time the process of ageing can be controlled at certain levels. it has been proved through scientific studies that natural agents especially plants play a vital role in controlling the process of ageing. This book gives an insight into the various medicinal plants and their proven actions to control the process of ageing. At the same time, the detailed in vitro methods are given which can be employed to evaluate the potential of a natural agent for its anti-ageing affects. A case study conducted on well known Indian plant in our lab is also given in detail.
