This books talks about the Events that made Indian society fill with pride. In this way it also tackles the Question as to what makes us proud? Pride is still a matter of research but I can say that pride in what one does or partakes in someone else's work and success goes a long way in showing ones character and moral aptitude. But different stokes for different folks i.e. differnt things make different cultures proud. So I had to find out those events that definitely made India and Indians proud. It had mostly to do with sports and things like democracy and how (whether) successfully one was able to empower the weakest........but then this is not a medal distribution ceremony.....but the book is designed for future editions which I am sure readers like you will savor and be anxiously waiting for.......... We can both get together and make this a success ......and I am sure it will kindle a flame in all Indian breasts of chivalry and sporting spirit ...........we have to read and find out where we may have just missed the bus and try and catch it up again. I will like to dedicate it to the will and strength of our people who despite all adverse situations had kept the flames of pride burning...............
