Diamonds and deals are currency, and the devil is in the details... Stephen Bonaparte is a boy with a voice in his head. Stephen (and the voice) want to escape from the orphanage and the abusive nuns that hurt him because of his green hair and untrained magical abilities. After Stephen is adopted by the mysterious Bethany Andrews, he is thrown into a magical world where diamonds and deals are currency, and no one is safe. After his adoption ritual, and a kidnapping attempt, Stephen utters a prophecy. The lowborn children shall come, winter will guide them. The children of space and time will hide them. The queen of summer will find them, and the golden kingdom will bind them. Now, Stephen must discover the meaning of this Prophecy, and the origin of the Voice, while surviving the dangerous world he finds himself in, or die trying.
