I published the Egyptian Food Made Easy cookbook, Hi, I'm Syrian, to discuss immigration, I'm different. I'm Special to promote inclusivity and highlight the difference between being an Arab and being a Muslim as a faith. The book also targets the broad spectrum of cultures, people's shade of skin colors, and the diaspora of mental abilities. I also released the Arabic Practice Guide for Non-Arabic speaking kids level 1 and 2 to help families striving to teach their kids the Arabic language. Also, I released two Arabic novels. My latest release on Amazon is Mrs. Z, the substitute, a collection of short stories for kids nine years and up. I have partnered up with some young fellows from my blog fans, and I was blessed to have two incredible eight and ten-year-old illustrators and one 11 years old author helping me out. Once, I was invited to attend a seminar. I am not much of a talker. I don't talk to impress; I usually share stories. Storytelling is the language I use to communicate. I told the audience a story about people arguing about a post on Facebook. I told them that someone was trying to prove me wrong, then I had to copy his same exact comment to reply. The audience laughed! Ironically, we are so alike. But when we hate someone, we become so blind. So, we try to prove him wrong and evil, no matter how good this person is. We usually focus on how we were different more than how we were similar. After I was done with my speech, one of the ladies came close and asked to hug me. She told me, "I'm glad you shared your story. It helped me to fathom some issues from your perspective!" In this Novella book, I partnered with some little writers and illustrators to share some stories from many perspectives. Kindly make sure to read every single story and imagine yourself in the shoe of any character you like. Believe me, It will help you understand. This is a Novella book. Every chapter is a whole new story. The book is a combination of some short stories in which I explained how Rony's mom was back to work after a very long job gap. After her first week at work, she had to deal with an intruder trying to enter her house while her kids were inside. Also, Elija's mom convinced his teacher and elaborated on how they could work together to solve Elijah's behavioral problems. In another story, I explained how Mrs. Zeinab was encountered by middle schoolers and how she dealt with it. "I'm Sorry!" is a story about the everlasting misconception between parents and teachers. We, as parents, get to see our kids as innocents and blame any issue on teachers. This story focuses on how we can have common ground, and conflicts with teachers in anyways won't help. An Anxious Wreck where you embarked on the idea of trying to focus on what makes a struggling special needs kid happy rather than focusing on her issues."A Thousand Dollar Ticket" is where you could see how someone may be treated differently because of how they were dressed. Also, how discrimination against others would impact someone's life or mental health. "Arab Boss Baby" is where you find humor! The book is full of inspiring stories that would help us connect, share, and comprehend each others' perspectives. And we don't have to agree, but at least we could respect each other's viewpoints.
