This is a true story of a life that was taken from us years too soon. However, Laura was put on this earth to serve a purpose, and that she did. We hope this compelling story will help others to overcome the adversities and roadblocks that may lay in the path of each and every one of us. Laura's fifty-one years of strength and unbelievable compassion to live life to the fullest was God's plan for her to share with those of us who remain. To challenge a Doctor's report. To stand up and to fight for what we feel is right and to listen to what our bodies tell us. Will we accept the words "She will never be normal" or will we challenge them and become a Rocket Scientist for the Aerospace program? Yes, there is no doubt that CANCER SUCKS, as does any disease. But it is within each of us to find the strength to fight the best we can and to hopefully not let that disease win.
