Lucien Lecarme lived 7 years right in front of Es Vedra, Ibiza's magnetic hotspot. Over the years, Lucien collected fascinating stories about the rock that he curated in the appealing 'Stories from the Rock'. A literary attractive and very entertaining coffee table booklet. The short stories are supplemented with Lucien's best photos. I had the absolute honour to live in front of 'The Rock' for 7 years. I admired 'her' while doing yoga on my rooftop. I experienced it's magnetic pull first hand. Like the Goddess Tanit in the north, Es Vedra protects the island and its inhabitants, by holding space for our personal processes, by accelerating them, and by charging us and Ibiza with enchanted beauty and magic. In a rapidly changing world, where technology is taking over, we need our sacred sanctuaries more than ever.
