From self-esteem and mental health, to education and bullying, girls will be directed toward a path where they can experience being filled with motivation and courage as well as gaining a new understanding on what it truly means to have "girl power."About The AuthorMykia Beckham-Simmons was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a wife, mother of three, mentor, and she owns her own custom crafts and apparel business, "Kia Kreations". She enjoys quality time with her family, crafting, dancing, laughing hysterically, singing (as long as the music is louder than her), and of course writing. She discovered her love for writing at a young age when she would write several poems and short stories as a hobby. She later followed her heart to Savannah State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Language, and Literature. She hopes this book reaches girls in a way that encourages them to realize their worth and to live a purpose filled life of positivity and joy.
