The mental makeup of humankind everywhere today is anger, fear and anxiety. We cannot afford to sink into depression and let a feeling of hopelessness take us over. We need to rely increasingly on our internal truths to guide us as much as we need the support of friends and family to reinforce the positive beliefs that lay latent inside-to pull us through. The few poems in this collection are meant to serve as hope. Thinking people everywhere know that it is hope is what emboldens us. It is a willingness of the human mind coupled with the available resources which can surely work wonders and lift us out of our collective predicament.
