When this happens, the individual does not just have to deal with the disease and its effect on his/her skin, but may also have to deal with the psychological effects of the whole situation. The comments of people and their somewhat strange reaction towards one with this disease is an issue of serious concern, which if not handled carefully will result in something worse.
