Robert Hughes is a board certified consulting hypnotist who has practiced in three states and on three continents in two languages. He is also a nationally known and respected teacher of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. In 2007, he had the good fortune to be selected by a nationally respected pediatric gastroenterology physician group to develop an adjunct program for treating pediatric functional abdominal pain and irritable bowel syndrome with hypnosis. This book presents the Hughes Hypnosis Protocol for working with IBS and FAP in children. But it does far more than that. It is also a tour de force presentation of advanced hypnotherapy methods that can be applied to many conditions. It is such a comprehensive review of hypnotherapy technique that it is used as the main text in teaching advanced hypnotherapy. Robert, although semi-retired, still practices and teaches in Boise, Idaho. Working with these wonderful children, although a small part of his practice, remains a major source of joy in his life.
