This children's picture book is a story about an inchworm named Ippy who decides to "reach for the sky" by climbing a very tall sunflower. He faces several challenges along the way to success and learns a valuable lesson in perseverance. On his journey to the sunflower, Ippy meets friendly creatures including a turtle, a butterfly and a rabbit. As he climbs the sunflower, his efforts are impeded by a rainstorm, a blackbird and a praying mantis. The story is written in rhyme and is recommended for ages 3-7.
