The book title comes from a famous quote from Irving Berlin 'the song is ended, but the memory lingers one.'I resonate with this quote as often when many events have passed. I still linger on the memory to fuel motivation and keep focused. Similarly to writing this and my first book, I never truly believed I was capable or would complete these prevalent projects of my life. It is a product of my experiences, thoughts, feelings, triumphs, and a glimmer of imagination and is a part of my personal growth. I have always been attracted to the deeper side and complicated side. It has led me to encounter difficult, cumbersome, and teaching situations. I hope you will too relate to these situations as I have detailed the softest and delicate, the delicate and dark, the tender and vulnerable. I keep many parts hidden, and I have a sensitive side that I have only felt comfortable to convey in my writing. Along with many others layers of stories and experiences, though I have let them go and heal, their memory still lingers on and occupies me transiently. I am a rainbow of melodies - a pocketful of promises, a hopeless romantic, confident with a daring side, spontaneity with an element of randomness, and the thirst for experiencing and dwelling into the deep. Each piece is a part of me, it open to interpretation, and its meaning will be perspective based. I hope you will love and cherish each line as I have passionately inscribed it. I write to love someone out there and heal something inside of me; I hope that I can love through these writes and help heal someone out there.
