There are lots of untruths, half-truths and full truths swirling around in mommy space that surfaces when a woman finds out that she is pregnant. For this reason, first time mothers and even experienced mamas who have been around the block start searching for information to calm their jangling nerves. They seek information ranging from natural birthing process, breast feeding a newborn, to taking care of whole little person (or so it seems). The internet is the largest source of information in today's era about being a new mom and often times information comes at you fast and furious but never in a structured way. Hence this journal was designed as my way of dealing with the change that was upon me and also a guide to say to expectant mothers relax, take a deep breath, there is a village of us out here, you've got this.
