A man was created by God. He is not a product of some big bang theory. God created man a tripartite being; spirit, soul, and body. The body is the physical and natural part of man which can be seen, touched, and felt through our senses. Our body is that part of our being that makes contact with the natural world. The soul is the psychological part that cannot be seen with human eyes, it is the essence of a man. Our soul is the seat of self-consciousness. A man is a living soul because his soul contains everything in him; his mind, emotion, will, character, and personality. Our spirit is the breath of life that comes from God. The function of our spirit is to contact and communicate with God. Without a spirit, a man will not be in a position to know God and to fellowship with Him. At His coming, Jesus Christ expects you to have your spirit, soul and body, completely separated and sanctified. Your mind must be renewed, your heart made pure and single, your conscience must be good and your soul transformed. All three parts that constitute a man must be kept complete, separate, and blameless. The purpose of this book is to teach you how you are constituted as a man, who you are and how you should prepare to sanctify your spirit, soul, and body for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
