This journal is a year-long journey to work on loving yourself in Jesus Christ. Allow yourself to breathe in the wondrous love of a just God. Allow yourself to apply these Scriptures of righteous thinking to your mind. Put aside the negative thoughts. Embrace the pureness of God's love. Take control over the thoughts of your mind that would cause you to think negatively of yourself. Until we see ourselves in Christ, we will never be able to see others in the light of Christ. If you want to be saved, if you want to help others toward salvation, you must first Love God, and then love yourself. Work on one concept a week for the next year. Read the Scriptures and the encouraging words. Then begin to journal in that area of loving yourself. Do not be afraid that this will cause you to be puffed up or egotistical or arrogant. Love is none of these things. You may want to start with reading the love chapter of I Corinthians 13. This will give you an overview of what Godly love is. When you love yourself in Christ, you will find a place of true humility and graciousness. Thanksgiving will flood your heart for all that God has done, is doing, and will do for us who are living in His love. God is love. Therefore, anyone who is of God is also of Love. Embrace His love for you, in you, through you, and for you. And Love yourself. Upon the completion of this journey, you will be better equipped to love your neighbor, as you will now genuinely yourself. Let's get started on this Love Journey!
