Willie losing his mother at an early age seriously affected him as he grew up in some of the most notorious "hoods" of Memphis. At the age of 12, he jumped off the porch to enter a life of corruption. Stealing cars was his initial crime of choice, until hustling crack cocaine was introduced to his neighborhood. By the age of sixteen, Willie had had become a teen father, with a child on the way, he turned up his grind, and in time he was making more money than he knew what to do with. As fate in the game would have it, he started catching cases, which would later hurt him down the road. One weekend too many, of supposedly having fun, lead him do a path that secured him, Two hundred and forty months in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. While on the inside, he was introduced to a word that help to make him realize how dissatisfied he was with his present and past conditions.
