When a person is faced with hurt of any kind from the believers, it is difficult to stay focused, but that is exactly what you have to do. When you feel as if your light is going out, God will not snuff you out. And this book is going to help you to see that reality. Isaiah 42:3 says "A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice". A reed is like a hollow blade of grass. If it is bruised, it is already weak and can't take any more pressure. God will preserve it and restore it, he will comfort it, but he will not let it break. So now whenever anything happens to me, or I go through anything, I ask the Lord what is the purpose for this? Is it for ministry or personal growth? Crying on the inside, working on the outside. Like a flower, God has picked me up. When all around me seems to be crumbling, crashing and broken, God preserved me and continues to do so, read and see how.
