In these novellas different human lives, destinies, characters, habits are passing before our eyes in silence. Many understand this silence as an expansion of space. Even if those who keep silent knew their end, they do not confess and silence is born. But silence itself is deceptive.

Anxiety, pangs and the agony of human being caused by society are hidden beneath the calmness, the insouciance. People, accustomed to one ideology, the way of life, don't even try to break off a habit to see the obviousity, the reality, the truth. The people in this society used to find simple solutions to the most complicated problems quite quickly and everybody agreed when reasonable words are spoken. No one is racking their brains over the reasons; only one person carries that weight.

Everyone is content. That is the secret of safety, wellbeing and peace.

It is much harder for many people to convince just one person. A protest of one person against many is met with fury and objection, whether that person is right or wrong. Self-defense mechanisms come into action. Thorns are rising.

All aggression begins with the aggressor's interest. Thus, to fall out of favor, one has to injure his forehead, to bleed. If you fall out of favor, no one would be interested in you. No one would measure your actions. You would become unexciting, colorless.

Having no interest in society is independence. You start living for yourself. Anyway, you can always put on a collar and stagger behind.

It is your interest that causes others' interest in you.

Any interest is mercenary, being born from the interest of the one interested. When interest dies, talent dies with it. Talent is the ability to show oneself. The colors of a painted parrot are fading in front of the eyes. And it is quite a sight. There is nothing more fascinating than change of colors in the world...
