A Beautiful September day goes bad as a neighborly good deed turns in a "Life Changing" direction. In an act of kindness I help a neighbor, and dear friend, with cutting a large half dead oak branch from a tree in his back yard. In an instant my life will change forever as the oak branch takes a bad bounce severing my right big toe. In this true life story of pain and struggle I will take you through my journey from tragedy to triumph. Faced with amputation, hospital bills, loss of wages, and financial uncertainty, I must find a way to rebirth, rebuild, and overcome many physical and emotional challenges as I struggle to reinvent myself. At 58 years old, life as I know it changes in the "Blink of an Eye", creating a series of events and challenges that the average individual might never be able to overcome.
