Ashley had decided to no longer service her friends in her salon. She and Grandpa were now fully retired. They had had a maid who made life wonderful living in their large and comfortable Rotonda West home, but she had moved to Texas to live with one of her children. As someone said, "times are changing."Brenda and Marcus were married and enjoyed their daughter Shannon . They both had sold their prior homes and moved into their new home off 41 in a new community with sidewalks and a community center and pool. They purchased The Club House business property they had rented for a few years using it for both of their businesses. Marcus's business had matured with multiple trucks and independent contractors including an excellent mechanic who cared for all their equipment and vehicles. Brenda's new business was focused on bookkeeping and accounting services including preparing federal taxes for businesses and individuals. Her staff had slowly grown, and she was committed to not letting it take over her life. Their friends and family met Sunday nights at the Venice Baptist Church on Venice island and enjoyed pastor Tom's messages and the fellowship. After church they enjoyed dinner together at one of their favorite restaurants. This book is about putting others first and how God uses that investment to grow His children.
