When Lily Austen is snubbed by Jack Darren at a company party, she quickly disregards him as a haughty businessman and tosses him from her mind. After discovering he's in the running to replace her at work, he's all she can think about. Being tricked into a blind date with the man reveals that not only can she not stop thinking about him, she may not want to. Jack meets Lilly as a favor to her boss and his friend. After getting over a nasty breakup, Jack is in no place to look for companionship or love. But when he says and does all the wrong things in front of Lily, he feels compelled to show her he isn't as bad as he'd been perceived.
