The Legend of Zeb Edding T L Mair

A tail wrote in the form of the novella. Filled with action and adventure. Along with some twists and turns, this is a story you can get lost in without wading through pages of fluff and filler. Zeb Edding, a retired buffalo hinter, along with his friend Billy Swan, leave the great plains. Wanting to start over in the northern territories, they catch up with the Oregon Trail and head west. Until their journey takes an unexpected turn when they cross paths with Shiloh and his band of highwaymen. At the Braying Ass Saloon in Fort Laramie, Zeb is called out by a gunslinger by the name of Morgan Winchester. This sets the tone for the rest of the story. Upon leaving the fort, Zeb and Billy happen upon the band of highwaymen firing on an ox train of Mormon pioneers heading for the Utah territories. Zeb mistakes Shiloh for Morgan Winchester and shoots him in the leg, starting a cascade of events that ultimately Leeds Zeb away from the train and into the Rocky Mountains. Then, at a broken down roadhouse in Colorado, events play out that will shape, and change the lives of the actors forever.
