I was a mortgage broker for 8 years until the industry crashed killing my business and leaving me with no income, no opportunities and no hope. This failure, coming after the failure of my marriage two years prior, made for a blow to my self esteem and finances that led me to stick my head in the sand hoping for relief and validation from others that never came. I was devastated and stuck!-Stuck in a maze of uncertainty about my future-Stuck within the walls of depression-Stuck with the idea that I was the role model my daughter would emulate-Stuck believing that I was unqualified and undeserving-Stuck in a personal conversation of self-doubt and fear-Stuck in a lonely box believing nobody could understand my situationSome of the quotes and questions, in this journal, were helpful at some of my darkest moments and will be helpful in getting you through the times of doubt, disbelief and dread you will experience as you begin to live your life, your way.
