Amambre, the King from the Jungle
Anthony Ansah
In the locked room, AMAMBRE could overhear all the discussion about killing three people to accompany the dead chief. He was shocked to the marrow. He couldn't fathom how unreasonable some traditions could be. He believed all that the old man had told him after hearing about the weird practice too. He got even more agitated to emancipate his people from the long devastating practices which he himself had suffered from. He however, observed that, it would be a very difficult thing to do especially if he wanted to use dialogue. "The position taken by the elders of the community wouldn't help matters at all," he reasoned. He vowed to do all he could to redeem his people from those unreasonable traditions, even if he had to sacrifice his life.
