In this three-part series of books, I will take you on a journey to understand the importance of your oral hygiene and the role I play as your dental hygienist and therapist. The most obvious important reason to maintain your oral hygiene is to keep your gums and teeth healthyI would like to share my knowledge with you in ways that can benefit you, specifically by helping you to know your mouth. Please use this book as a guide when you need it or when you are not sure what's happening in your mouth. I have taken the liberty to come up with a few solutions for you. However, do not use this book as a replacement to your hygienist or dentist; you will still require visual assessments, check-ups and treatments where necessary.
