I wrote this book inspired by my best friend and how much they have endured over the past few years. I wanted to understand my best friend, because I knew I wasn't always told everything, and this way their way of being utmost vulnerable with me. My best friend could barely hold a pen, let alone type, so I became their scribe. I may have written this book, but these words, they are all, my best friend's unspoken words. This book encompasses excerpts from the life of one with a chronic illness, autoimmune disease and an invisible disability. This is for those struggling to help themselves, or to help others understand what this life is like to live. In no way does this do justice to everything one goes through, but this is to give a glimpse of what it is like and what can be endured. As you read each line, I hope you can feel what is meant to be felt - whatever that feeling may be, and I hope you realize you are not alone in this.
