This reader series started as a single book with ESL students, dyslexics, and struggling readers in mind. However, after seeing the great success it had with all types of new readers from early learners to ESL adults, we felt confident that creating a whole series was needed. Anyone can learn to read with this simple system. Each page introduces two new sight words along with previously learned words and words with picture clues. These words have been carefully selected from lists of commonly used words including the First 300 Fry Frequent Words List and Dolch Sight Words List. The simple rhymes make learning to read an enjoyable experience and the ice cream theme keep things fun.
