A Feminist's Guide is meant to be a collaborative journey, so grab a copy, invite some friends, and host a feminist craft night while following the prompts in your workbook. This book is meant for anyone that believes in equality for all people. Not just people that look like you. The first step in building a more intersectional world is learning how to share that message with those around you. A Feminist's Guide is a collaborative conversation, where everyone has a voice. It's not a soapbox or a presentation, it's real people learning from each other and growing together. We like to pair our Feminist's Guide events with a craft and some funky collaborative art. We've found that people are more vulnerable, open, and receptive when creating with their hands. Get ready for a fun night! In a collective culture where feminism is being sold as an accessory, too many feminists are defaulting to the most toxic, but most visible and marketable kind: White Feminism. ABOUT BABE COLLECTIVE We're an intersectional grassroots collective that supports a broader movement towards collective healing, justice, and empowerment for all colored, gendered and nonconforming, cis and queer bodies. We don't claim to be world-class feminists on the subject, we're just a bunch of regular people trying our best. Once a month, we start a collaborative convo on re-introducing ourselves to intersectional feminism and eradicating patriarchal bullshit one craft kit at a time.
