Thinking about Family Terence George Nye

If you were an extraordinarily talented writer, I guess you would have a plethora of characters and situations to choose from if you had a family like mine. In that sense I suppose I am lucky and should feel good about it. The problem is that when I start to write I am censoring myself in case I might say the wrong thing. I know that I'm not one of those ambitious, fame seeking, ruthless writers who doesn't give a fig about other people's feelings as long as they make some lucre out of it. I'm just an ordinary bloke who likes to test himself creatively both in an intellectual and physical way. Shaping physical matter in a creative way doesn't cause pain to the wood, stone or any other of the inanimate mediums. So, anyone who reads this book and I am confident there won't be many, can I say to you that nothing I write is planned, or meant to hurt, it just sort of 'Comes out'.
