Satan is a formidable foe. The prince of darkness even tempted our Lord on many occasions. So it is little wonder that he will seek to tempt you, your spouse, if you are married, your family, and your friends. I know because he worked his wiles on me, my wife, my children, and my friends and associates. It is what he does. And although he achieved limited successes, he is destined to lose the war, because it is God's law that good shall overcome evil. This book, The Days are Evil: Dress Appropriately & Learn to Walk in the Shadow of God, is a field manual for taking a stand and prevailing in our daily walk. It points to the Word of God, and orients us to The Way out of the sin so prevalent in our communities and our nation. It is the same sin that beset Adam and Eve and countless others, and caused the destruction of Sodom and its inhabitants. And to cut to the chase, following the Word of God is the only way out of sin and the fate that beset Sodom. "Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way," it states in Psalm 119:104, and continues in verse 105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."This is a book that teaches us what the Word of God says about dressing appropriately in the time we now live. It is about putting on the whole armor of God and learning to walk in God's shadow, with all the protection and power that entails. These are Scriptural references that embrace the admonition of God in Ephesians 5:15-16, "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
